DEUTERANOMALY
directed by Havilah Imfeld
written by Jessica Fleitman

ALLEN GREENBERG: Male, 30s-40s. Jewish. He is often moody, protective, and unyielding in the face of circumstances that call for none of these characteristics.

LEAH GREENBERG: Female, 30s-40s. Jewish. An intelligent and fierce woman who takes no bullshit and could love you to death.

Play synopsis: “Deuteranomaly” is the medical term for red-green colorblindness. “Deuteronomy” is a part of the Bible that includes the story of Moses’ exclusion from the Promised Land. But when his son is diagnosed with Deuteranomaly, Allen has a difficult time differentiating between the two, and it is up to Leah to keep her family from reaching Biblically tragic proportions. A comedy about Jews and hues.

Auditions will take place Saturday, December 11 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at Manhattan Theatre Source.
