Celebrate the Source and make great savings with the genius card

Over the past few seasons The Source has been developing its homegrown programming. The starting point for doing this was looking at our main strength, which is unquestionably — and fabulously — EstroGenius. The nascent Writers’ Forum inaugurated inGenius (in 2009) to create staging opportunities for its tribe of scribes and then there was HomoGenius for LGBT voices. Now in its second year, TestoGenius has been more strongly defined as a ‘Festival of FatherHood’ and JuniorGenius clearly serves the younger talent in our communities and was much loved by its first participants in Summer 2010. We have shown that we still have sufficient creative juices in our community to generate original and enjoyable short play seasons and we want to celebrate this spirit of genius (in the original sense of the word as “a strong natural talent, aptitude, or inclination”) and make it easier for our audiences to keep coming back for more and so we are delighted to launch the ManhattanTheatreSource genius card; which is like a coffee card for our theatre fans! The more genius shows you see, the cheaper they will be and after the fifth show the next one is FREE! Offers also apply to the PlayGround Development Series & Greenwich Village Follies.

There are 2 ways to play:

1) genius advance: Pay $50 and see six genius shows; or get 3 Follies seats

2) genius-as-you-go: First ticket is $18, second ticket $14, third to fifth tickets $10

NB: genius advance enables discounts for the Follies, both options apply to genius and PlayGround Development Series shows
